Reviews and Ratings

Jisun Hahn CAPS Certified Somm rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A grippy Cabernet Sauvignon filled with black fruit, blackcurrant and ripe black plums. Cedar, spice and mocha adds the right amount of layers to give this wine complexity. With the mouth filling tannins this wine will age well and may need another 2 to 3 years in bottle to soften. However, if enjoyed now would pair well with a rib eye steak topped with garlic compound butter and a side of warm cremini mushroom salad.
From Sumac Ridge, Black Sage Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 is rich on the nose with ripe cassis, blackberry, dark cherry, savoury spice and toasty oak flavours finishing long on the palate. So juicy and full on the palate. Tannins are approachable. Pair with prime rib. - Community Wine Reviews
