Natalie's Score: 91/100

A juicy, savoury and well-priced Ripasso Valpolicella Superiore from the Veneto wine region. Full-bodied with rich dark fruit, smoky and toasty oak spice flavours on the palate from oak ageing. Well-structured and balanced with supple tannins. "Storia antica" translates to "ancient history," and in recognition of the old world wine style of drying grapes prior to fermentation.

Valpolicella Ripasso food pairings: grilled steaks, slow-cooked beef, osso Bucco.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
