Lovely white melon, lemongrass and chive notes on this nose of this zesty Californian Sauvignon Blanc. Perfectly balanced. Good mouth-watering action. Complex and layered with a terrific finish of vibrant Meyer lemons and stonefruit. Pair with pan-seared halibut.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: shellfish, chicken and sage skewers, fresh tomato and basil salad, pan-fried freshwater fish.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Attention Sauvignon Blanc lovers! Everything you love about your Savvy B is in this wine. Clean, fresh and lip-smacking goodness wrapped in familiar aromas and flavours of gooseberry, fresh grass, herbs, citrus, peach, and some cattiness. The length is long on a mouthwatering finish. Drink now. Perfect for salad or as a thirst buster on it's own.
Serve well chilled.

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of grass, asparagus and citrus fruit with flavors of tropical fruit, grapefruit, herbs and stone minerality. The elegant finish offers a touch of cream. Pair with seafood or grilled chicken.
This vibrant Californian Sauvignon Blanc is named for the Celtic goddess of fertility and birth, Aveta. She's often depicted carrying a basket of fruit. The 2013 vintage is the first one for the Aveta Sauvignon Blanc. - Community Wine Reviews
