Natalie's Score: 88/100

From Spy Valley's Envoy Johnson Vineyard, this medium-plus-bodied, dry Sauvignon Blanc was completely fermented in oak barrels where it also rested on its lees for 11 months before blending and bottling. Lovely creamy complexity on this SB with white-fleshed stone fruit, savoury dried herbs, ginger and lemon-lime zest flavours. Pair with herbed quiches, green salads topped with freshly-steamed shrimp.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: fresh tomato and basil salad, pan-fried freshwater fish, apple stuffed chicken breast, grilled prawns.
