I found this to be a black cherry bomb on both the nose and the palate with slight hints of vanilla... but only slight. I also found the wine to be overly sour which lingered into a decently long finish. To me this is a food wine, not a sipping wine, but likely wouldn't make my top recommendations list.

IN THE WINERY:
Cluster selection and destemmed to oak and stainless steel fermentation tanks for indigenous fermentation. Average of 5 weeks total maceration time for each lot before gentle pressing, settling and barrel ageing. Barrel selection determined final blend composition. Wine is unfined. Sterile filtered.

IN THE GLASS:
The nose is evolved and complex with layers of earthiness, red and black cassis, subtle oak and leather notes. Palate is mid – weight, soft tannins, quaffable and juicy with wonderful fruit finish. Enjoyable and approachable.
