Dry with attractive white peach and white melon aromas on the nose. Crisp, refreshing aperitif or companion to fresh seafood. Finishes with tropical fruit such as melon and guava. Try this with Asian dishes.

Chenin Blanc food pairings: mild Thai curries, fresh seafood, green salads topped with freshwater shrimp.

Reviews and Ratings

Stellenbosch Simonsig (2017) Chenin Blanc is terrific value under $15. The 2017 vintage has great acidity and structure with soft citrus, ripe apple, pear, stonefruit and beeswax flavours. Pair with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
