Reviews and Ratings

Wow. At 15% abv and firm tannins, this wine needs food! A big, bold, feisty red from the Umbria Wine Region made from Sagrantino. You can lose yourself in that deep ruby colour in the glass. signaie 2011 is spicy with cocoa and espresso and sweet tobacco aromas on the nose. Rich with ripe red fruit, more spice, cocoa, coffee and balsamic and tarry flavours on the palate. The designation of Sagrantino di Montefalco is permitted in the municipalities of Montefalco. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
