Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Sibona Distillery's Madeira barrel-aged Reserve Grappa is a beautiful amber colour thanks to the time it spent in sweet Madeira barrels picking up not only colour but subtle flavour and texture complexity too. The nose shows spicy poached pear, lychee, candied orange peel, with a lovely Ambroisal fragrance. The palate is creamy, sweet, and spicy with a repeat of the aromas leading to a long spicy finish. Ideal served after a fine Italian meal or alongside (on drizzled on top) creamy desserts and pastries. Two great options, a lychee, mango, and coconut terrine, or lychees and cream cake. A beautiful reserve Grappa! Highly recommended. 93 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
