The skilled toji team at Takara Shuzo, founded in 1842, crafts this traditional sake using the proprietary Kuratsuki Hanbei yeast strain that imparts distinctive mellow richness and depth of rice flavor, brewed with the celebrated Fushimizu spring water from Fushimi renowned for its semi-hard mineral content that creates the silky smoothness characteristic of Kyoto sake.
