Reviews and Ratings

Shannon Ridge Home Ranch Reserve 2014 is a dry and oaky Cabernet Sauvignon from Lake County, California. Harvest came early in 2014 due to a drought conditions -- third year in a row -- which threatened to raisin the grapes if not harvested early. Although the crop was small, the concentration was great. Home Ranch Reserve 2014 is a dry, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with grapes sourced from The Red Hills and High Valley AVAs. Look for ripe red berry, dark chocolate flavours, fresh herbs and cedar spice from the combination of Cab Sauv. wine grapes from these two AVAs. This wine spent 24 months in both French and American oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
