Shanky’s Whip, County Cavan, Ireland is a distinctive Irish whiskey-based liqueur that blends aged pot still Irish whiskey and neutral spirits with rich natural flavours of vanilla, caramel and sweet spice to create a smooth, creamy-sweet profile at 33% alcohol by volume. It pours dark in colour and opens with inviting aromas of vanilla, toffee, cream and warm baking spices. On the palate it is velvety and rich, showing flavours of caramel, butterscotch, vanilla fudge and gentle spice with a lingering sweetness that’s easy-drinking and fun. Fascinating fact: Shanky’s Whip is presented under a playful legend of an Irish jockey named Shanky, and the brand aims to bring a creative twist to traditional Irish whiskey flavours with a bold black liqueur that works for sipping or mixed drinks. Serve it neat, on the rocks, in coffee drinks or mixed into cocktails like cola or espresso martinis.

Food pairings: chocolate truffles, caramel dessert, coffee cake, vanilla ice cream with espresso drizzle.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
