Shiraz food pairings: espresso and cocoa-rubbed flank steak, lamb cutlets, burgers with blue cheese, grilled pork chops.

Serafino 2016 Shiraz is aromatic with blackberry juice, dark cherry, anise, coffee and smoky, toasty flavours. Serafino (Steve) Maglieri arrived in Australia from Italy in 1966 as a teenager. Together with his father Giovanni he planted the first vines in the McLaren Vale. The winery is now run by his daughter Maria Maglieri. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
