Reviews and Ratings

Camelia Bucur rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Senorio de P. Pecina is a red ruby color with hints of dark cherries, spice, vanilla and a strong smell of alcohol on the nose (cherry liqueur flavors). Cherries, berries, dark fruit, light tannins, balance acidity, hints of minerality and presence of american oak (spice and vanilla in flavors). Excellent wine to sip on but also will pair well with lamb or a med done grilled ribeye steak.
Produced by Hermanos Peciña, this concentrated Spanish red wine is made in the heart of the Rioja region. Aromas of dark berries, smoke and spice. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
