Robust and generous (you gotta like that in a wine or a person) with attractive aromas and flavours of tart cherry and wild blackberry. This wine cries out for food, especially anything with a tangy tomato sauce. A solid finish. Great for potluck gatherings. This full-bodied red wine is a blend of 60% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet, 20% Merlot grapes grown in vineyards in Castellina area of the Chianti region.

Food pairings: stew, roast beef.

Reviews and Ratings

This robust Tuscan red wine is blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes offering aromas of black fruit and toasty oak. Finishes with dark spices and smoke. Very expressive of its origins. Try with grilled meats and mature cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
