Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Thick and rich black fruit in this medium-bodied Tuscan red wine give way to grainy tannins and a punch of acidity. Suggest decanting 1-2 hours. Meat lovers pizza; game; pasta with a veal tomato sauce.
Tasted: January 2016
As the back label reads: tannic austerity dominates the palate, and this can be very attractive when paired with grilled meats. Also pair with rustic Tuscan cuisine and barbecued steak. Lots of spices on the finish. Decant 2 hours. - Community Wine Reviews
