Full-bodied Chilean Cabernet, with a medium tannins on the palate. Decant 1 hour. Aromas of blackened fruit and toasty oak and smoke. The grapes for this wine grow on old vines in the winery's Miraflores Estate vineyard. Finishes with cedar and cigar box. Pair with a bolognese sauce.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled steak, back ribs, brisket, roast beef.

Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This Cabernet has some well managed input behind how it was constructed. It is from Miraflores, in Colchagua.
It also saw partial before and after fermentation maceration. Malolactic fermentation was also split 40%/60% between oak and steel tanks. This keeps the fruit lively, but also gives it some tannic fortitude.
Very approachable and with dark fruit. Plum, currant, and blackberry jam. Cocoa, fennel, and cedar smoke.
A great wine for charcuterie meats. Something with a touch of fattiness and spice.
