Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Inviting cherry, raspberry and fresh roses on the nose. Luscious acidity, light velvety tannins, and a bold bodied pinot. This wine is a gem! The finish is phenom! Tart cherry, fresh raspberry and smooth tannins linger on the tongue. Have fun pairing this wine with a dish because it is quite versatile. I just had it with beef chili!
This Californian red wine is produced by Santa Barbara Winery, established in 1962, the first winery in the region to open after prohibition, opened in 1962, over 10 years prior the next winery opening. The cooling Pacific Ocean breezes and fogs moderate the daytime heat. The 2012 Pinot Nir grapes are sources from three Santa Rita vineyards. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
