Tart and mouth-watering with mysteries of black cherry aromas and flavours. Almost full-bodied, complex and not overly fruity. Great acidity for planked salmon.

Pinot Noir food pairings: prime rib, grilled steaks.

Reviews and Ratings

Beginning to offer hints of mature complexity. Dried cherry, smoked meat, leather, vanilla and raspberry jelly aromas with a dry forest floor in the background. Smooth and delicious. The lithe palate opens with some fresh cherry added to the flavour replays. The balance, structure and fine tannins suggest a lifespan that will reward till 2018+. Mocha-dusted red-fruit finish. Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
