Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An expressive Sauvignon Blanc with a healthy body showing more fruit than vegetal character. Aromas of gooseberry, lemon, lime, and passion fruit are accented by bell pepper and freshly cut grass. Zingy acidity on this extra dry yet fruity Savvy really drives home the food friendly nature of the style and draws out the finish with replays of citrus. Great choice for grilled fish and raw shellfish.
From Dillons Point, Marlborough, South Island, Saint Clair Pioneer Block 20 Cash Block 2017 Sauvignon Blanc is a dry, medium-bodied, zesty SB sourced from a single vineyard. Clean and fresh with white melon, yellow apple, tropical fruit and grassy flavours on the palate. Has the acidity to pair with rich dishes like seafood Alfredo and Coquilles St. Jacques. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
