Wineboy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Wow.... a cellar worthy candidate at a low price. Pleasing juicy spicy fruit along with earth/soil, and oak - all in balance. Solid tannins may make this a little puckering now, but wait til this becomes a beautiful texture up to 5 years from now.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

An inky rustic Italian red crafted from Aglianico grapes in the Southern region of Basilicata. This wine pours with loads of plum and spice aromas. Leather, smoke, dark chocolate mocha and black plum flavours dominate the palate with a long earthy finish. Tannins are chewy and prominent against a moderate acidity. I find this wine to be lacking in structure and acidity. Tasted May 2017 by @ sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Sacravite (2013) is made from 100% Aglianico with zesty fresh cherry and wild berry flavours, mocha and roasted nuts. This is a beautiful wine at fantastic value. Aglianico is a food-friendly wine grape that can handle any rich, meat or game dish. - Community Wine Reviews
