Lemon zest on the nose and palate of this delightful French white wine. Lovely balance and acidity here in a sun-dappled Old World Sauvignon Blanc. Pure expression of fruit, great mineral intensity.

Sancerre food pairings: oysters on the half-shell, mussels Portuguese, clam linguine.

Reviews and Ratings

A very zesty Sancerre, this French white wine is produced by the Raimbault family who have been growing grapes in the Verdigny wine region of France for 10 generations -- more than 350 years. 80% of the 17 hectares of wine they currently own are planted on steep slopes of 10 to 35 degrees with ideal sun exposure. Pair with shellfish and field greens. - Community Wine Review

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
