Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Always a "go to" wine for me. Never disappoints.
Fleshy ripe fruit on the nose. a little smokey. A smooth and silky wash of dark cherry, plum, toasted oak, vanilla and sweet spice dance on the palate. Long cherry, vanilla finish. Medium plus body wine with full bodied pleasures. Second glass tastes even better!
Louise Wilson - ISG Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A very expressive bouquet of black cherry, pomegranate and baking spice followed by a mouth filling palate of ripe red fruit wrapped in luxurious oak. Well structured with a generous length. Decant to release the genie. Enjoy through 2019. Excellent with mushroom risotto or cedar planked salmon. Tasted Jan 2014.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a classic Russian River Pinot Noir. Rich cherry and vanilla on the nose. Tastes of black cherry with spicy overtones and a hint of smoke on the finish.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
