Rocche dei Manzoni Barolo from Piedmont is a dry, full-bodied wine crafted from 100% Nebbiolo, revealing a very fruity profile full of ripeness with cranberry, guava and ruby grapefruit aromas, while the silky, relaxed palate shows ripe tannins and crisp acidity keeping everything in balance with a tight yet gripping finish. Serve it at room temperature with braised beef short ribs in Barolo wine sauce, where the wine's ripe tannins and silky texture complement the tender, richly flavored meat, or pair it with aged Parmigiano-Reggiano and truffle honey as the wine's fruity ripeness and structured acidity stand up to the intense, crystalline cheese. Winemaker Valentina Migliorini oversees production at Rocche dei Manzoni, a family estate founded in 1974 by Rodolfo Migliorini in the heart of the Langhe, which has earned international acclaim for crafting modern-style Barolos that balance power with elegance from their vineyards in Monforte d'Alba. This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared as it continues to evolve.

Barolo food pairings: roast leg of lamb, roast game hens, venison sausages.
