The Italian wine region of Maremma is situated on the southwest coastal area of Tuscany. With its gorgeous landscape, it's one of the most popular destinations for Italians when vacationing. This terrific red wine features aromas of dark fruit, violets and smoke. Lovely medium-bodied wine with a smooth texture. Mouth-watering acidity makes it an excellent partner to many Italian dishes

Sangiovese food pairings: Tuscan food like Stracotto (slow-braised beef), Pecorino Toscana cheese, pasta with tomato sauce, lasagne.
