Cherry-berry pie on the nose with a lifted, more crisp palate and mouth-watering juiciness for roast chicken or planked salmon. Medium-bodied. Luscious layers unfold one after the other on your palate. Close your eyes and enjoy.

Pinot Noir food pairings: roast duck in a red wine sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The people that know me, know I love a good Pinot Noir. This Pinot from Robert Mondavi was smooth and well balanced. Flavours of cherry and strawberry and plum blended to a nice finish.
Carneros is Napa’s coolest winemaking region, and is highly regarded for producing world-class Pinot Noir – facts certainly not lost on Robert Mondavi. This example offers a toasty, oaky nose with touches of cherry cola and spiced black cherry. The palate delivers big, ripe fruit, in a balanced, full-bodied package. Full-bodied & Smooth.
