A classic Californian Chardonnay with great bones (structure). Complex and layered: full of character yet elegant and balanced. Aromas of white peach and pear with a green apple finished wrapped in toasty oak. Perfect fireside sipping wine.

Reviews and Ratings

Valérie Dufour - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Subtle nose of lemon, grilled baguette and vanilla.
This is a fuller wine than the other Chardonnay of this big producer. Pretty solid wine with a nice acidity that will be perfect with a fat fish "en sauce" like sole meunière or salmon.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
