Reviews and Ratings

Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

There is nothing not to like about this well-crafted fruity Cabernet Sauvignon from Robert Mondavi. And yet, I find it a bit stilted; lacking personality and nuance. It offers pretty aromas of macerated black fruits, floral notes and cedar. On the palate, it is fresh and velvetty smooth. The 14.5% alcohol and grippy tannins are well integrated, and the cedary oak is well balanced. At 10$ less, I would have been far more generous in my score, but at 35$, I expect a little more character.
