Zesty aromas of green apples and green melon with a full-on use of oak but the fruit supports it. Full-bodied and voluptuous. A smoky finish.

Stemwinder food pairings: seared scallops with apricot puree and candied walnuts.

Reviews and Ratings

Stemwinder is the name of the soil on our home vineyard.
It is a great quaffing wine grown on our Black Sage and Golden Mile vineyards. The blend is unique; Chardonnay,Chardonnay Musque and Sauvignon Blanc – all three doing
their own special thing. Stemwinder and Ponderosa soils.
Zesty citrus, tangerine, flinty, minerally, and wet stone.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
