Reviews and Ratings

Carla rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

I enjoyed a really fun tasting at Riverview with Stephanie and Chynna.

This Gewurztraminer is semi-dry with a sugar code of 1.

"Can't pronounce it? You're not the only one. A compelling, spice-dominated Gewurztraminer. The nose is loaded with ginger, creamed honey, roses and subtle lychee; the palate expands on these flavours with light sweetness, viscious mouthfeel, and low acidity." (Riverview tasting notes)
Winner of a Silver Medal at the 2012 Wine Access Canadian Wine Awards. Hibiscus, rose petals, wet stones, candied ginger and dried grapefruit peel make for a dazzling aromatic display here. The wine is softly textured and exotic, with an excitingly gingery finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Dec. 2012

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
