Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied Shiraz varietal from Western Cape, South Africa that has aged from several years. Red cherry, plum and chocolate aromas with spice, meat and dark berries on the palate. The tannins are still high so I recommend decanting or further ageing. An accompaniment to grilled meats.
Rickety Bridge 2015 Shiraz is produced from 100% Shiraz wine grapes sourced from Grapes selected from Franschhoek, Wellington and Breederiver Valley
Vineyards. Rich on the palate with dark cherry, mulberry, dark chocolate and white pepper and clove spice flavours toasty and elegant on the palate. The wine was matured in 20% new and 80% previous oak barrels for 22 months prior to bottling. Pair with spare ribs, lamb kebabs and grilled games sausages. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
