Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A superbly elegant Pinot Noir with cherry and allspice notes. This pinot carries a great balance of high juicy acidy and long-lasting cherry flavours. Enjoy with pulled beef steam buns. Tasted Sep 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
René Bouvier is a family-operated business which was started in 1910 by the grandfather of Bernard Bouvier. The winery has 13 hectares in Pinot Noir and four in Chardonnay in the Burgundy region. René Bouvier (2014) is from the Marsannay area in that region. The vineyard is sustainably managed and has been converted for organic farming. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
