A robust and savoury Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore from the Veneto wine region at a great price point. Lush and intense with dark cherry compote, ripe black fruits, raspberry, cigar box, dark chocolate and smoky flavours on the palate. Decant two hours prior to serving. Tannins are plushy and fresh acidity for food. Wine grapes are sourced from the Montecorna vineyard in the Valpolicella Classico zone.

Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore food pairings: pizza topped with steak strips and garlic, spicy sausage , prime rib roast, hearty winter stew.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Veneto wine region, Remo Farina Montecorna 2017 is a full-bodied, rich Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore, well-priced under $20. Plushy on the palate with concentrated dark cherry, ripe red berry, dark chocolate, coffee, and smoky dried herb flavours on the palate. Pair with roast leg of lamb. - Community Wine Reviews
