A deep rich red from a fabulous vintage! Notes of black plum, blackberry and kirsch. Supple layers of flavour. Wonderful!

Val reviewed this wine as follows:

A wonderful wine, one you'll think about for weeks after tasting. Fabulous paired with a salad of greens, goat cheese and walnuts yet equally good with grilled steak or even a decadent chocolate cake. Memorable.
If a wine can be considered huge and refined at the same time, this is it. It has huge concentrations of dense black fruits, spice, dark chocolates and mocha. Its refinement lies in the ripeness of its fruit, the restrained use of oak, its fine-grained tannins, its velvety texture and the moderate alcohol that frames it. Drinking well now but age worthy — 2022+.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
