From the Rioja wine region, R. Lopez de Heredia Viña Bosconia Reserva 2009 is an old world, full-bodied Tempranillo-driven red blend with 10% Grenache and 5% each of Graciano and Mazuelo. The wine spent a minimum of 36 months in oak with a further three to five years in bottle prior to release. Maturing nicely and still very fresh with crushed red and dark berry, dried florals, cedar spice and smoky vanilla flavours elegant on the palate. Pour with a pork tenderloin en croute.

Food pairings: slow-braised lamb shanks, venison stew, pork roast.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
