Quinta do Monte d'Oiro's Vinho Regional Lisboa is a rich, medium to full-bodied red wine crafted from Syrah with notes of dark plum, black pepper, toasted walnut and bitter orange. This dry wine displays supple tannins and excellent balance that will continue to develop over the next five years. Serve it at room temperature with herb-crusted leg of lamb as the wine's spice complements the rosemary and garlic, or pair it with grilled beef skewers where the wine's bold fruit stands up to the charred meat. Winemaker José Bento dos Santos crafts this expressive Syrah from vineyards in the rolling hills north of Lisbon, where Atlantic breezes and limestone-rich soils create wines of remarkable freshness and Mediterranean character. Quinta do Monte d'Oiro has been producing exceptional wines since 1998, establishing a reputation for quality that rivals Portugal's more famous regions at accessible prices. This balanced Syrah represents outstanding value and will drink beautifully through 2030 and into the early 2030s.

Tinto food pairings: roast leg of lamb, beef and lamb kebabs from the grill, black bean or lentil soups.
