This lush and full-bodied is more like a quilt for your palate. Wow. Quilt 2016 is a classic California cab, smooth, robust and juicy rich with ripe dark fruit, sweet and savoury spice, vanilla and chocolate syrup flavours on the palate. Quilt is the first Cabernet Sauvignon from Copper Cane Wines company, founded by Joseph Wagner. Pair with roast venison.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: Brazilian slow-cooked pork, roast turkey, beef and black bean stew, shepherd's pie with root vegetables.

Reviews and Ratings

Produced by Joseph J. Wagner, Quilt 2016 is a full-bodied and rich California Cabernet Sauvignon form the Napa Valley wine region. Look for layers of dark fruit, dried herbs, baking spice and vanilla-mocha flavours on the palate from oak ageing. Tannins are firm. Pair with a grilled T-Bone steak. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
