Quails' Gate has built its reputation on terroir-driven wines from the Okanagan, and this Pinot Noir shows that focus. Red fruit sits at the centre, with a savoury, herbal note and a whisper of spice running underneath. Fine tannins keep the texture silky, while balanced acidity gives it lift. There's real potential to develop further over the next several years. Herb-crusted chicken, roast lamb or a slow-braised game dish would all be lovely matches.
