Provolo's Valpolicella from Veneto is a lively, medium-bodied red wine blending Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara and Corvinone with notes of dark cherry, red plum, violet and dried herbs. This dry wine displays easy-going tannins and vibrant acidity that make it wonderfully versatile with food. Serve it at room temperature with spaghetti Bolognese as the wine's bright acidity cuts through the rich meat sauce, or pair it with aged Parmigiano-Reggiano where the wine's red fruit complements the nutty, crystalline cheese. Winemaker Alberto Provolo ages this traditional Valpolicella blend in stainless steel and concrete to preserve the wine's fresh, concentrated fruit character without oak influence. The Provolo family has been making wine in the Valpolicella Classico zone for generations, maintaining the region's time-honored winemaking traditions while bringing modern precision to their production. This terrific, food-friendly red represents excellent value and will drink beautifully through 2028.

Food pairings: spaghetti and meatballs, vegetarian lasagne, hard cheeses.
