A superbly structured and balanced Niagara red wine blend of Cabernet and Merlot. Aromas of dark plums, cassis and smoke. Full-bodied with a long finish. Pair with grilled steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes WSET3 FWS rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The 2016 Meritage has presence. Pronounced floral, berry and spice aromas introduce this elegant red blend’s rich flavours of currant, cassis, spice, leather and cedar. Integrated tannins enhanced the experience offered by this medium to full bodied creation from Pondview Estate.

Hand harvested from vineyards in Ontario’s Four Mile Creek appellation, this unfiltered Meritage is a blend of 50% cabernet sauvignon, 33% merlot and 17% cabernet franc.
Enjoy.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
