From Altenbourg, Alsace wine region, the grapes for Pierre Sparr 2018 Riesling are sourced from the Altenbourg lieu dit in the Upper Rhine. Produced from 100% Riesling, the wine is dry, medium-bodied and fresh with ripe stone fruit, mango, peach, apple, citrus zest flavours and grassy notes balanced with laser acidity. Pour with a traditional Alsatian dish of Spaetzle and Fleischkiechle. The Sparr family have been making this wine since 1680.

Riesling food pairings: feta cheese, grilled salmon with lemon sauce, duck liver pate, butternut squash risotto.
