Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An interesting blend of Jacquere, Altesse, Chardonnay, and Chasselas.
The colour has a softness to it - yellow, with a watery rim.
The aromas are subtle amd fresh. Celery, green herbs, apple, pear, lemon, and verbena.
Flavourwise, watercress, bruised apple, pear, chamomile, cornflower, and vanilla.
Savoie lies along the border with Switzerland and both the Swiss and French side make similar styles. Swiss wine is pretty rare due to volume and export prices, so try the French interpretation of these grapes from the West side of lake Geneva. They're interesting and a bargain.
Put this nifty blend alongside fondue or french onion soup.
This Savoie Blanc, from the Savoie wine region is lemon zesty with crisp white fleshed stone fruit. Philippe Viallet, Les Flocons (2015) is made from Jacquère (primarily from the Savoie region), Altesse, Chardonnay and Chasselas wine grapes. Drink now and for the next couple of years. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
