Peter Lehmann's The Barossan 2021 is a great value Shiraz at $22. Full-bodied and plushy with dark berry, blueberry compote, coconut, pepper spice and chocolate flavours savoury, vibrant and lush on the palate, enjoy this food-versatile Barossa beauty on its own or with a steak from the grill. Peter Lehmann is known for his efforts in saving the Barossa Valley wine industry in the 1970s, by sourcing and blending surplus grapes from the area, and crafting wines that helped some small family operations through tough times.

Shiraz food pairings: grilled steak, pan-roasted beef filet and rösti potatoes, cheeseburgers, chicken mole.
