Very herbal, green and acidic with white grapefruit on the palate. Demands food like shellfish to temper the acidity.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: onion tart, asparagus and pear gallette, goat cheese and spring greens salad with gooseberry vinaigrette.

Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted on April 9th 2017. Clear on rim with golden edges on the tilt. Aroma of crisp lemon and gooseberry, herbaceous grapefruit and grassy notes. On the palate lemon and cut grass, lots of acid on the mid palate. All the flavour is up front. This is a nice easy drinking wine that is nice on its own or with lemon shrimp.
This Chilean Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Casablanca Valley's Perez Cruz vineyards (Reserva 2015). Very aromatic and flavourful, more green hay and soft tropical notes, this SB would be a perfect pairing with a warm goat cheese and asparagus omelette. - Community Wine Reviews
