A gorgeously rich and full-bodied Australian red wine made from Shiraz grapes from a stellar vintage. Aromas of cracked black pepper, fleshy plum and spice. Full-bodied with juicy, mouth-filling black fruit yet there’s balance and finesse. Pair with grilled meats. Decant 1-2 hours. Highly recommended.

Shiraz food pairings: beef steak, prosciuttos, black bean soup, blue cheese, lamb with rosemary.

Reviews and Ratings

R.W.T. is a full bodied Barossa red from Penfolds. The wine is a fruit bomb and a mouthful at that. The initials RWT stand for ‘Red Winemaking Trial’. No longer a "trial", the name was given to the wine project for this wine which began in 1995. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
