Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted June 5th, 2018. Colour yellow gold. Legs medium minus. Aromas and flavours of baked apple, pear, aromatics, green herbs. Taste dry, fruity and aromatic, light mouthfeel, mouthwatering minus. Finish simple. This wine is meant to be an aperitif. Serve with charcuterie platter. This wine can handle fatty salami, prosciutto, grilled butter lemon shrimp and hard cheeses. Serve chilled. The grape Clairette has been grown in the Herault Valley of Languedoc region of France, for 2500 years. Paul Mas produces a number of different wines and is worth tasting. So look for Paul Mas in your wine store and give them a try. Also they are good value.
Paul Mas Vinus 2015 is a 100% Clairette from the, Languedoc wine region with a ripe pear, apple and light herb flavours on the palate. Finishes clean, fresh and long. Pair with a seafood salad topped with more grilled shrimp. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
