Paul Jaboulet Aîné Domaine De Thalabert 2020 is a dry, medium-plus-bodied and charming Rhône red from the Crozes-Hermitage AOC in northern France. The Syrah grapes for this wine were biodynamically grown and the wine is fresh, fruity and fragrant with oodles of ripe dark fruit, plum, cocoa and stony mineral notes silky and long on the palate. Tannins are velvety. Drink or hold to 2030.

Food pairings: rack of lamb, roast duck, veal Porterhouse.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
