Passi di Orma from Bolgheri, Tuscany is a refined, medium-bodied red wine offering notes of blackberry, dark chocolate, violet and cedar. This dry wine displays fine, velvety tannins and bright acidity that will continue to integrate over the next four years and beyond. Serve it at room temperature with herb-roasted guinea fowl as the wine's elegance complements the delicate game, or pair it with grilled venison loin where the wine's structure stands up to the rich meat. Winemaker Axel Heinz crafts this sophisticated blend from Bolgheri's renowned coastal vineyards, where maritime breezes and well-drained soils create ideal conditions for producing elegant, Bordeaux-style wines. Passi di Orma is produced by Tenuta Sette Ponti and represents a more accessible expression of Super Tuscan winemaking, offering immediate drinkability while maintaining the region's characteristic polish and depth. This approachable wine represents exceptional quality and will continue to develop through 2029 and into the mid-2030s.

Food pairings: roast pheasant, venison steaks from the grill, game sausages from the grill.
