Vintages Wine Panel: This is the perfect wine to toast the first day of summer. Made with Primitivo and a smidgeon of Negroamaro, this wine is filled with cherry, blackberries and a hint of raspberry. Dry and very rich, this wine does not overwhelm the palate, nor food. My note: If you love Zinfandel or Merlot, you’ll glom onto this wine in a second. Note as concentrated as Zin but flavor-packed and delicious with aromas of plums and blueberries. Supple and smooth.

Primitivo Negroamaro food pairings: grilled gourmet sausages.

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
