Palacio Del Burgo Crianza 2017 is a great value Rioja red under $15. Produced from 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano, this is a juicy medium-bodied wine with dark plum, red berry, smoky toasty oak spice and firm tannins. Grapes were hand-harvested and fermented in controlled-temperature stainless steel tanks with malo in concrete tanks, then aged in American oak barrels for one year. Decant one hour and pour with grilled meats or aged cheeses.

Crianza food pairings: venison stew, fricassee rabbit, roast duck, partridge.
