Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Very nice Spanish white with an intense nose showing plenty of lemon, citrus, white peach, and white floral aromas. Extra dry with high acid. Minerality joins the citrus and stone fruit on the palate. Well made and well suited to Galician favourites such as shellfish or Lacon con grelos, a traditional pork dish.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Elegant and aromatic, this wine from north western Spain shines a spotlight on the Godello grape. Influenced by five months sur lies before bottling, it displayed floral and stone fruit notes framed with hints of sea salt and crushed stone minerality. Pleasing acidity and medium bodied. Hand harvested, the Godello was grown on vines rooted in schist and chalk soils. Enjoy.
Produced by Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, Pagos De Galir Godello 2017 (aka Verdelho) with wine grapes sourced from the Valdeorras wine region. The Godello was macerated for 10 hours at 10º Celsius with a controlled fermentation at 18º Celsius for 15-20 days and aged on its lees up to five months. Medium-bodied with fresh floral, white orchard fruit, grape and lime zest flavours on the palate. Fresh and smooth with great mouth feel from lees ageing. Pair with grilled fish dishes. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
